Joe Askew

Joe Askew is a specialist shoulder and elbow physiotherapist and Extended Scope Practitioner (ESP). Joe qualified from the University of the West of England, Bristol, with a degree in Physiotherapy in 2002. He has completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Bradford University and is due to begin an MSc in Trauma and Orthopaedics at Salford University in early 2017. He is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, the Health Care Professions Council and the prestigious British Elbow and Shoulder Society. He is the physiotherapy representative for the North and West Yorkshire Shoulder and Elbow Society (NWYSES). He is a trained injection therapist. Joe has specialised in musculoskeletal physiotherapy for the past 12 years. He has a longstanding interest in shoulder and elbow conditions and has worked as a specialist physiotherapist in this area for the past five years. He receives referrals from Orthopaedic consultants from across the Yorkshire region for complex shoulder and elbow problems.
